He will be an underdog here against Beneil Dariush, but don't expect this to be an easy fight by any means. Ferguson went the distance in his last fight, losing the decision to Oliveira, and his KO loss to Justin Gaethje came in the fifth round. This is a 2* play on BOS. Both these teams have their share of demons when it comes to Game 7, but I think the Bruins have an edge here on home ice. Boston has lost three straight Game 7s dating back to 2019. That said they have won 4-of-5 versus the Leafs. One of those was back in 2013 when the Leafs held a 4-1 lead late in a Game 7 at Boston. This is a 4* play on PHI. The Phillies are hot, and the Giants are not. Philly comes into Game 2 as winners of 7-of-8, while the Giants have lost three of four. The Phillies are 11-6 at home and the Giants are 6-11 on the road. Ranger Suarez will toe the slab for Philly, and he's been damn near perfect so far. Suarez (5-0, 1.32 ERA) has allowed one run over 30 innings in his last five starts. The Giants hand the ball to Keaton Winn, who is 1-2 with a 3.38 ERA on the road. If the Phillies can't get to Winn, the Giants bullpen ranks 28th in the majors with a team ERA of 5.32 among relievers. This is a 4* play on DEN. The Nuggets beat the Wolves in five games last year, and while this year's series may well be a hell of a lot more competitive, I gotta go with the champs. Nikola Jokic is far and away the best player in the league, and should be winner of four consecutive MVPs. Jamal Murray is Captain Clutch with a pair of game winners versus the Lakers. The Wolves are a great team, but I worry Karl Anthony Towns when it comes down to crunch time. Anthony Edwards has a bright future, but at 22 he's not yet in his prime.
