Royals vs Dodgers MLB Free Pick

The Angle(s): Expect another explosive, high-scoring contest at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Royals meet for Game 2 following Monday's wild 6-5 Dodgers victory. With both starting pitchers facing major red flags and two relief corps showing noticeable strain lately, the offense should stay in high gear.

The Royals send veteran right-hander Michael Wacha (5-8, 3.44 ERA) to the mound. While his overall season numbers look respectable, Wacha has historically struggled against this Los Angeles order, surrendering seven, six, and seven runs over his last three career starts facing the Dodgers. 

The Dodgers counter with left-hander Blake Snell (0-1, 12.00 ERA), who makes his long-awaited return to the rotation following a long absence due to elbow surgery. Snell has looked far from sharp, having allowed four runs in one start before landing on the shelf, and he will likely be on a limited pitch count in his first start back. Expect both lineups to generate early traffic and capitalize on tired bullpens late. Gimme the over.
