The presence of Jacob deGrom on the mound along with last night's lopsided victory in favor of Texas figures to have a lot of bettors backing the visitors again at a near pk'em price on Tuesday. It's true deGrom is coming off a masterful outing against the Nationals in which he allowed just one hit over six shutout innings, striking out 10 along the way. It's also true that Texas has won just two of his last six starts and hasn't notched victories in consecutive deGrom outings since June 1st and 7th. Anthony Kay was saddled with a loss in his most recent start for Chicago but deserved better as he allowed just two earned runs over six innings against Atlanta. The White Sox had won three consecutive Kay outings prior to that. He brings excellent form having allowed three earned runs or less in 11 consecutive starts. He's worked at least into the sixth inning in four of his last five trips to the hill. Take Chicago (8*).
